This past year, Florida State University Zeta Tau Alpha hosted the 26th annual Race to Live 5K as our fall philanthropy event. The race begins at the Zeta Tau Alpha house and through FSU’s campus until the runners return to the finish line back at the house. The day of the event was filled with so much excitement and happiness seeing how successful of an event we were able to put on.  It was very rewarding to see members of the Tallahassee community come together to raise money for this cause and support the survivors that were able to attend. As a result of the hard work and dedication of our chapter, we were able to raise over $115,000! The proceeds benefit the Zeta Tau Alpha Foundation to support scholarships, educational programming, leadership development, and our fight against breast cancer. Our partnerships with Bright Pink, the NFL, and the American Cancer Society help spread awareness of this disease and make a meaningful contribution towards finding a cure.
